Soul Stillness
Full Moon in Gemini
December 3, 2025
This moon has been asking me to soften into a kind of stillness that feels almost womb-like — the quiet that receives us, that brings us back to our original memory of being held.
Last week moved quickly. Thanksgiving passed in a swirl of mountain air and Poway Lake trails, shared meals, tears of gratitude and loss, and laughter anchoring us into the present.
Coming home felt like exhaling — cats greeting us, art supplies calling us, our little rituals gathering us back.
By Monday, something deeper was pulling me inward.
And in the midst of that softness, I found myself at my first Lakers game — a study in contrast. The ritual of the players, the pulse of the crowd, the thrill of collective anticipation. And also the unsolicited yelling, the fan-to-fan coldness, the displaced competition, the tiers of tickets shaping the experience. These human gatherings reveal so much about how we curate our lives: how we breathe, eat, move, perceive. How deeply our choices shape what can transform.
So on Tuesday morning, when I woke into a divine stillness, it felt like a necessary reset. No thought, no task, no agenda. Just an invitation to stay. My cats curled into me as if to guard the quiet, and time softened around the edges. It felt like renewal — like the moment before birth, suspended in water, becoming. A return to simply being.
And as this Gemini moon illuminates us, a choice point rises.
A moment to speak truth with conviction.
A moment to create from authenticity rather than performance.
A moment where our creativity ignites because honesty has finally been invited to the table.
The Power of Sitting in Circle
For two years now, almost every significant new and full moon, we have been gathering in circle — witnessing one another, softening into sacred pauses marked by the sky and the seasons. These circles have become a living tapestry of everything I believe in: nature as teacher, community as mirror, ritual as stabilizer, and presence as the medicine we most often forget we carry.
We honor the forces of nature — the elementals, the directions, the cycles that hold us whether we acknowledge them or not. These circles remind us that the earth has her own rhythm, and when we attune to it, something inside us remembers how to breathe again.
And always, Cacao sits with us.
The spirit and medicine of this ancient plant softens the edges, opens the heart, and guides us into coherence. It allows each of us to arrive honestly — in whatever truth we are holding — and to be met with warmth rather than judgment.
It has been divine to watch my personal practice become a shared ritual.
To sit with community again and again, moon after moon, and feel everyone open a little more each time. There is something profoundly rewarding in offering my part and feeling it be received — not for who I am, but for what we create together.
What This Moon Stirs
I imagine stillness as the water we once floated in — the inner ocean of becoming. And I keep wondering what else might be possible from that zero point. We are always in metamorphosis. The chrysalis constricts us, dissolves us, remakes us. Then wings come, brilliant and fleeting. And then the cycle begins again. My grandmother’s voice echoes here: “nothing lasts forever”. The gift is how we tend each moment, how we place the next stone for the ones who come after.
This moon feels like an initiation into deeper truth-telling — an invitation to step fully into our individual expressions while learning to honestly celebrate the diversity among us. To appreciate the variety of perspectives that make our circles whole. To practice being ourselves while allowing others to be themselves, fully and unapologetically.
What Remains True
As the moon highlights these reflections, I’m reminded again that my greatest anchor is my breath — the relief, the activation, the cleansing it offers.
And the circles.
And the Cacao.
And the way community keeps showing up to practice presence and possibility together.
Take what resonates. Leave what doesn’t.
Stay loyal to the loving voice within you.
Be you, and let others be them.
always in love,
Quinne
